Why is Web 2.0 Important?

According to a recent McKinsey study, 70% of companies are using Web 2.0 technologies (i.e. blogs, message boards, wikis, shopping systems, polls, live chat, etc.) to communicate with their customers because they believe it provides a competitive advantage and meets customer demands to help maintain their market position. Half of global Chief Information Officers (CIOs) are planning to invest in Web 2.0 technologies in 2008, according to a publication by Gartner.

While big business is jumping into this Web 2.0 world, there are many benefits to small businesses, including lower implementation costs and productivity enhancements. With business expenditures on Web 2.0 expected to reach $4.6 billion by 2013, this seminar is a great way to learn about low-cost options for small businesses to break into this arena.
